Located at the foot of beautiful Blue Mountain in northwestern Berks County, Pennsylvania. Camp Swatara is owned and operated by the Atlantic Northeast District Church of the Brethren and is a member of the Outdoor Ministries Association of the Church of the Brethren. The purpose of Camp Swatara is to provide opportunities in the natural setting for persons of all ages to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, so that they may give their lives to Him in total discipleship.

  • To examine the scripture in order to hear God speaking to us today.

2014 Benefit Golf Tournament
Located at Blue Mountain Golf Course Located off Route 22 — East of Fredericksburg and North of Esther’s Diner (Esther’s Diner will give a 10% discount to all golfers eating breakfast there — Just mention you’re playing!) 
 
Wednesday, July 16, 2014.  Arrive 7:00am for 8:00am start 

Cost is $70.00 per person Includes greens fee, cart, refreshments, banquet, prizes. In honor of the 25th Anniversary golfers are challenged to make an additional $25 donation if desired.

2014 Acadia Adult Trip
From September 5-14 Camp Swatara is sponsoring a trip to Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Activities include nature discovery walks and boat rides, as well as a carriage ride through the Park. Park Ranger presentations will be included on several of these discoveries.  Sightings of deer, eagles, seals and beaver are common. (Sorry no moose, but you never know.) There will also be a stop at the famous Jordan Pond House to eat popovers and time to explore the shops of Bar Harbor.
