Birding in Union County, PA. This weekend tour is timed with the peak of songbird migration north.
LEADERS: Dedicated and constant bird watching leaders Doug & Sally Ruby, from Rockingham, Virginia, will lead the “flock”. The Ruby’s have led over 50 trips over the past 30+ years.
SIGN-UP: Join the “migration” by filling out the included registration form and returning it to Camp Swatara by April 12th. Space is limited to about 15 participants due to lodging space so register early!
WHOOOO: Whooo’s eligible? A "Wise Owl" has suggested that Adults and any avidly interested Youth under the age of 18 when accompanied by an Adult are welcome.
SPECIAL Please list on the registration form if there are any special “bird
REQUESTS: seed” requests or if there are any physical limits to your “flight”.
NESTING: The flock will nest at the comfortable Zaegar’s House in dormitory style sleeping arrangements. Be sure to bring your sleeping bag and pillow.
MIGRATORY: The group will gather at 7am on Friday morning (May 8th).
