Experiences Director
The Experiences Director is responsible to oversee the planning and implementation of site-wide programming experiences in Summer Residential Camps, our Family Campground, Outdoor Education, and with some Retreat Groups, including recruiting and hiring seasonal staff and volunteer support, coordinating publicity and promotion, and ensuring that all supplies, equipment, transportation, food services, medical, aquatics, and other needs are provided. Assistant Buildings and Grounds Manager
The Assistant Buildings & Grounds (B&G) Manager is responsible to assist in maintaining camp’s grounds, facilities, vehicles, and equipment including a variety of maintenance, landscaping, grounds keeping, logging, repair, and construction projects, as well as with set-up and support for special events. The position also provides supervision for other seasonal Buildings and Grounds staff and volunteers. Family Campground Manager
From the beginning of May through the beginning of November, the Camp Swatara Family Camping Center is open for tent, cabin, and RV campers on 140 sites. Peak use takes place from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with limited use in early May and late October. The Family Camp Manager is responsible to oversee the operation, management, and program of the Family Camping Center. In order to provide a quality experience for our campers, this includes ensuring clean, well-maintained facilities and grounds, as well as overseeing the reservation system, camp store, family programs and hospitality.
