Camp Swatara is excited to announce that Tim Courtright has been hired as the next Executive Director of Camp Swatara!
Tim grew up in Central Ohio where his love of camping grew from early experiences with the Boy Scouts and church camp. After high school, he was a counselor at church camp for two summers. These formative years cemented his love for camping and launched him into his career. He has been involved in camping as a participant, volunteer, as a vocation and a consultant for 34 years.
Currently, Tim is coming to us from Kenbrook Bible Camp North of Lebanon, PA where he is currently in the role of Executive Director.
The Courtrights have been in this area of Pennsylvania for the last 16 years. Tim and his wife Joy have 4 children ranging in ages from 19 to 10. He is very excited to be joining the Camp Swatara
team on July 15.
